Thank you for your interest in this Ventmoot. It is held annually on the 2nd weekend in November. It is open to all youth and advisors in the Venturer & Rover Section of Boy & Girl Scout movements. This year we are opening the camp to 4th year Scouts to introduce them to Venture age programing.

Thank you for all who attended Genesis 2010 it was a huge sucess. We hope everyone had fun and will inform other groups in your area about this Venturee Camp. The continued growth of this camp will make it one of the best events for Venturers to attend for years to come.

Camp this year will be held on November 11-13th, 2011. Genesis will be at Camp Bel in Dorchester.

Genesis 14 camp theme is "Chinese New Year". There will be the regular events like football, karaoke, repelling, car smash and camp wide campfire, where the participants are encouraged to bring musical instruments. We will again be having entertainment this year.

Like usual the Golden Gauntlet for the company which shows the best camp spirit. Like usual, some events this year will be messy, so bring the appropriate clothing to participate (showers will be available for participants). Advisors are again welcome to take part in Woodbadge 1, company and crew during the weekend. New this year, we are running the FOCUS Award Program on the saturday of camp, space is limited so please indicate on your registration if any of your youth are interested.

The tuck shop will be open this year for participants to buy old badges, t-shirts, hats, glow sticks and any new additions we choose to put in this year. Snacks will be available to be purchased throughout the weekend.

We will be camping down on the flats again this year, so your gear will be transported down by the wagon. Also in addition this year the same as last we need copies of your groups health forms to stay at the first aid building while at camp, you can retrieve them at the end of camp before you leave.
